We make stuff we'd wear.

SK Design Co. started with a pretty simple rule: if we wouldn't wear it, we don't make it. Sometimes that means something thoughtful. Sometimes it's patriotic. Sometimes it's a Maryland crab. Sometimes it's a taco printed on a beach cover-up. We don't really see a reason those things can't come from the same place.

So, what is SK Design Co.?

What started as Sovereign King Apparel grew into something a little less serious—and a lot more like us.

We still believe in making things with intention. We still care about quality. And you'll still find the original Sovereign King ideas here under SK Originals.

We just stopped pretending every good T-shirt needs a manifesto.

SK Design Co. gives us room to make whatever we think is worth making: funny stuff, thoughtful stuff, beach stuff, Maryland stuff, holiday nonsense, designs for kids, and whatever idea shows up next.

Built to Endure.

The designs can be ridiculous. The shirts shouldn't be.

We care about the garment underneath the artwork just as much as the idea printed on it. We choose products and print methods we'd be comfortable buying ourselves, because a great design on a terrible shirt is still a terrible shirt.
